And if tired after exploring the countless trekking, cycle and mountain-bike paths in the surrounding area, you have the inkling to taste a local truffle together with a glass of fine wine, you only need to go down the stairs.

Casa San Grato is a place where traditional and modern styles blend in perfect harmony with a range of natural hues and bright colours. Our ultimate aim is to offer absolute comfort, but also to bestow a specific feel to the interiors that combines refinement with classic style.
The living and dining areas – featuring large windows that let in abundant natural light – look out over the surrounding valley to as far as the eye can see, contrasting with the sparkling colours of the pool. On the opposite side, the spacious kitchen with a detailed design to satisfy every culinary desire, is remarkable for its range of practical facilities.
The bedrooms of the villa, painted in delicate tones, envelop guests in a warm, inviting embrace that encourages regenerative rest. Each room is named after a fine wine, celebrating the prestigious winemaking traditions of Piedmont and deepening the villa’s connection to its territory. To ensure privacy and maximum comfort, every room is equipped with its own en-suite bathroom.

The little ones can enjoy a play area designed especially for them, complete with a slide; the more active ones have their own special space for storing bikes, a covered area for table tennis and table football; those with a taste for food can choose between a wood-fired oven and a gas-fired barbecue for preparing some succulent delicacies.
Every activity comes to life against the backdrop of a spellbinding hillside setting: the villa stands on a panoramic viewpoint which never lets you lose sight of the stunning surrounding beauty.

We will be delighted to organise a private tasting session with a sommelier or an exclusive cooking class with a local chef – stopping to shop for raw materials at the market – or a wine and dine tour of Alba accompanied by an expert local guide, and any number of additional activities.

È la seconda volta che, con lo stesso gruppo di amici (siamo in 15) torniamo a Casa SanGrato. Erano trascorsi 3 anni dall’ultima volta, ma ci è sembrato di tornare “a casa” e così ci siamo sentiti per tutto il soggiorno. La casa è bellissima e super confortevole, piacevolmente arredata e molto bene tenuta. La comodità di avere praticamente tutti i bagni en-suite per 7 camere (su 8) è impagabile!
Anche la dotazione di piatti, stoviglie ed elettrodomestici è ovviamente all’altezza della situazione e di un numero consistente di ospiti (come eravamo noi). Marina è un host molto attenta, presente e disponibile.
Una menzione speciale va alla cantina di vini, molto bene organizzata e dotata di ottime bottiglie!
Che casa fantastica! Eravamo in quindici, tre generazioni, inclusi 6 bambini piccoli/neonati, e la casa ci è sembrata spaziosa e molto confortevole; letti meravigliosi e bagni ben attrezzati per ogni camera. Tantissime attività per i bambini (e per gli adulti), tra cui una splendida piscina, ping pong, ecc. Inoltre, è molto adatta ai bambini, con culle e seggioloni disponibili su richiesta e tante stoviglie di plastica per i più piccoli.
Ci sono dettagli speciali, come il generoso pacco di benvenuto e le eccellenti raccomandazioni sui ristoranti, tutti fantastici (consiglio: prenotate in anticipo, la maggior parte dei posti è piccola e molto frequentata dalla gente del posto!).
Nelle vicinanze ci sono tanti bellissimi borghi, e sia Alba che Bra meritano una visita per lo shopping e i loro eccellenti mercati settimanali. Canale è il top per il gelato!
Marina e Gaby non avrebbero potuto essere più gentili e disponibili: hanno organizzato degustazioni di vino e risposto a tantissime nostre domande.
Stiamo già programmando la nostra prossima visita!
È stata la seconda volta che abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo posto straordinario per un workshop professionale.
Come la volta precedente, i contatti dalla prenotazione fino alla partenza sono stati proattivi, gentili e il team è davvero reattivo, il che è molto utile per organizzare il viaggio.
E per quanto riguarda la casa… che meraviglia! Otto ampie camere con bagno privato, un grande tavolo da pranzo sia all’interno che all’esterno, piscina e molto altro… abbiamo apprezzato ogni momento trascorso qui, godendo della splendida vista dalla terrazza e della tranquillità del quartiere.
Nei dintorni ci sono molti borghi da visitare e tantissimi vini da degustare!

La nostra famiglia ha trascorso il Natale a Casa San Grato. Che esperienza straordinaria! Sono stati 5 giorni memorabili, tra il piacere di vivere la casa e le escursioni suggerite da Laura. I bambini hanno adorato la fattoria delle capre e dei formaggi, il giro in mongolfiera e la caccia al tartufo! E la cena di Natale con uno chef privato e un menu esclusivo è stata semplicemente perfetta.
Laura e Marina sono state fantastiche. Grazie di cuore! La casa ha davvero tutto ciò di cui si può aver bisogno: è pulitissima, confortevole e ben organizzata.
È la casa perfetta nella regione per un grande gruppo!

La villa è splendida, e già dal check-in ci si sente davvero a casa.
Le camere, i bagni, la sala da pranzo, il bellissimo soggiorno, e il giardino sono incantevoli. La casa era pulitissima e un plauso a Laura che ci ha accolto all’arrivo con la sua costante gentilezza e disponibilità per qualsiasi esigenza; anche quando abbiamo chiesto un piacere il giorno della partenza e ci è stato concesso sempre con il sorriso.
Siamo rimasti solo un weekend (l’unico difetto perché la casa è talmente bella che consiglio di rimanerci per più giorni!!).
Le foto sono sicuramente molto esplicative, ma dal vivo la casa dà il suo meglio. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare qui!
